Attendance

Parents or guardians you must come into school in person to sign your student out and in during the school day. 

Important reminders:

• Your signature is the only excuse needed.

• Please allow 10 minutes for the student to be located and prepared for early dismissal.

Same-day passes

If you know your student will have an appointment during the school day, send a note with your student that includes when you will pick up and follow this process:

• Have your student bring the note to the main office before the first period on the same day.
• Exchange it for a pass.
  • This process will help to ensure that your student is in the office waiting for you.

When your student is marked tardy or absent by a teacher after being in attendance during the school day, you will need to contact that teacher for an explanation or correction.

If your student will be absent for more than three consecutive days, please request a Pre-Arranged Absence form. See the details below:

• This will be filled out by the parent, student and all of their teachers with homework assignments. 
• Your student can get this form in the main office.
